These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website cyro.org.et (the "Website") and any services, forms, memberships, donations or content offered through it, operated by the Children and Youth Relief Organization ("CYRO", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. CYRO is an independent, non-profit organization founded in September 2021 (originally as Yatim Orphan Care Organization) and based at the Rabah Commercial Building, Jigjiga, in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. We support orphans, children and youth through education, health, peace building and community empowerment programs.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Website, submit information, apply for membership or make a donation. Payments are handled securely by external providers. While we select our providers carefully, CYRO is not responsible for the availability, performance, security or policies of those providers. Any payment dispute should be raised with us and, where relevant, directly with the payment provider.
Where you volunteer with us or take part in our programs, you agree to act lawfully, respectfully and in accordance with any additional guidelines, codes of conduct or safeguarding requirements we provide. Given the nature of our work with children and vulnerable people, we may carry out reasonable checks and require adherence to our safeguarding standards as a condition of participation.
All Content on the Website — including text, logos, images, reports and design — is owned by CYRO or used with permission, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and share our Content for non-commercial, informational purposes with appropriate credit to CYRO.
